Pointless sculptures. None of this is practical, nor functional, un. Just some idiot's idea of aestheticism. Ha, aestheticism. Another word for meaningless garbage the masses ogle at to find 'beauty'.

There is only beauty in structure, and discipline. Do what needs to be done, and don't waste your time on such trivial pursuits as 'art', un.

It only litters the world with more layabouts, and nothing will ever be accomplished.

The city's been rather tame this month, comparing it to all that occurred in the month previous, un.

It's almost...boring. I, for one, enjoy chaos, un.

Makes the world a much more interesting ~~and inspiring~~ place to live.

That festival was enjoyable. Explosions look so much better at night, un. Much more artistic. You can get the entire feel for them.

This heat.

It reminds me so much of when Sasori-danna and I walked across that desert to his homeland, un. It was sweltering there, just as it is now.

It makes me think too much of all of that charade...the heat, the sand, Sunagakure...and how it's best son left it to find his own way, only to have the village that he had forsaken come back and claim him once again. As a traitor that was killed, un. Justice served, they'd probably say.

But..It was no justice. It was a murder of art. Sasori-danna was a virtuoso that those boorish sand ninja could not understand...so he left them to forge his own path. Akatsuki, un. He found his talents appreciated there..and when he returned home, to showcase his talents..he was ill-welcomed yet again. Uncivlized ignorants, un.

Their Kazekage did not seem happy of my talents either, un. But, a leader of fools must be almost as foolish as his followers, so, I'm not surprised.

..I wonder if the Ichibi's host still resides in this city, un. If he does, he's hiding.

That Tayuya girl speaks to go against Orochimaru, though she does not tell me how. I know we need more allies for the battle...so why not give Orochimaru this information? Or rather, why do we not go kill her and hang the head from the Hospital roof, un? I do not think the Snake would really care.
